SUBTERAFORMING THE EYES OF HEISENBERG
cast below flying car cities racing streets of shopping malls
the bloodlines deemed inferior dwell beneath the bottom wall
the cry no gods no masters echoes through all space and time
the hands that we raised, empty, wield the past like a crysknife
the androids speak of a railroad, the end of the line is where air flows free
ride the Cannonball from the jungle hold your breath until Big Rock Candy
drones of clones desire nothing
so say the best, so say the rest
if we must take a backseat to genius
if only you can free us from them
then let their blood be upon you
and you fight until the battle's end
drones of clones desire nothing
so say the best so say the rest
long live the kings in poverty
god save the queens from our hands

I thought Black Table's "Obelisk" was a top 10 extreme metal release of 2016. This EP from 2012 is a bit less experimental but I think just as amazing. Wonderful, complicated guitar parts, progressive bass lines that you can hear, very clean and clear drums that do not muddy up the music, and some of the most unique shrieky vocals ever. I don't know if it's Black Metal...there are aspects of it that remind of Minsk or Rwake...so I think of it as progressive blackened sludge. MindOverFour

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu
